State of the Art Facility and MRI Suite! (Cave Creek Equine Surgical & Diagnostic Imaging Center, continued) |
 |
Their state of the art facility includes an Equine MRI Suite where horses can be presented under general anesthesia for the procedure, ensuring a higher quality image than with a standing MRI. They also provide a full or half body bone scan to help find problem spots that other diagnostic procedures have missed. Dr. Rich is in on the forefront of the industry in the use of stem cell therapy for treatment of injuries. Currently, they are also beginning the use of a new, less expensive stem cell related therapy. All of this is in addition to the more common diagnostic procedures such as routine lameness exams on various footing surfaces, digital x-rays, and ultrasound imaging. They also provide orthopedic and upper airway surgery, shockwave treatments, IRAP Joint Therapy, Platelet Rich Plasma, Tildren, Laser Surgery, and shoeing evaluations.
When you require a trained and experienced eye and hand, Cave Creek Equine Surgical & Diagnostic Imaging Center, at the corner of Carefree Hwy & 14th Street, is the place to go. Call 623-581-5508 for a quote or appointment, or visit the center's website. |

International Three Day Rider Relocating to Cave Creek! |
 |
Marie Davidson is a unique riding instructor and trainer recently relocated from Flagstaff. Marie holds a Master's Degree in Education, along with over 30 years of training from the best in the world. This includes the USET's Jacques LeGoff, while being long listed for the US Olympic Three-Day Team, and A rating from the USPC, numerous Year End High Point Awards in various disciplines, and a lifetime of experience training, showing, and rehabilitating everything from reining horses to foxhunters, dressage and jumpers. She has trained horses, riders and competed internationally with horses she trained herself, including Jet Set, who won a silver medal at the Pan Am Games, Me Three, winner of the Bromont International Three Day, and Doubt About who placed 8th at the Rolex KY International Three Day Event.
Marie moved to Cave Creek last August to take on the role of Office Manager for Dr. Ross Rich of Cave Creek Equine Surgical & Diagnostic Imaging Center. "Dr. Rich helped me rehabilitate my retired event horses. I was able to ride and compete that horse for another year, including a win at Third Level at the Spring Dressage Show at WestWorld. The horse was 27 years old. What a gift to compete that horse again!"
When Dr. Rich offered Marie the position in the Cave Creek Office, she saw an opportunity to move to a milder climate and to be closer to the vet she feels keeps her horses in top form. Marie is now taking new students, so please contact her at 928-853-5656 or send her an e-mail. |
